Wonderium World, ABN 13 768 069 008, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it.
What we collect
When you order from us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and billing address, along with the details of what you ordered and any personalisation details you enter, like a child's name or a centre's logo.
When you subscribe to our emails, enter a giveaway or contact us, we collect your name and email address and anything else you choose to tell us.
When you visit our website, we collect information about your visit automatically, including your device, browser, general location and the pages you look at. This helps us understand how the site is used.
We don't collect or store your full payment card details. Those go straight to our payment providers.
Why we collect it
To make and deliver your order, to keep you updated on it, to answer your questions, to send you marketing if you've asked for it, to improve our products and website, and to meet our record keeping and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal information with the businesses that help us run Wonderium World, and only for that purpose. That includes Shopify, which hosts our store, our payment providers, the couriers who deliver your order, and Omnisend, which we use to send our emails. We also use Meta and Google advertising and analytics tools that collect information about how you use our site.
Some of these providers store information overseas. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it appropriately, but by using our site you accept that your information may be stored outside Australia.
We never sell your personal information.
Personalisation details and logos
If you send us a logo, a name or artwork for a personalised order, we keep it on file so we can fulfil repeat orders for you. Tell us if you'd like it deleted and we will.
Marketing
We only send marketing emails to people who've opted in, and we send them through Omnisend. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can use it any time.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. They keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and help us understand how the site is used.
We also use tools from Meta and Google that use cookies and similar technology to measure how our ads perform and to show you our ads on other platforms. These tools collect information about your visit, including pages viewed and actions taken.
You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working properly if you do. You can also manage ad preferences directly through your Meta and Google account settings.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including using reputable platforms with their own security measures. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we treat your information carefully.
How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as we need it to run the business and meet our tax and record keeping obligations, generally at least seven years. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
Email hello@wonderiumworld.com.au and we'll help. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll respond within a reasonable time. In some cases we may need to keep certain records, and we'll explain why if that happens.
Children
Our products are for children, and our website is for the adults buying them. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page.
